The song Barbra Streisand, by Duck Sauce made waves back in 2010 when it was released. It is made of 8 vocal hooks overlayed on a sick beat. In 2011, a Polish engineer sought to show off the text-to-speech his company, Pixnet, was building, and made GoBarbra.com. In it, visitors to the site can input their own text, and create versions of the song for their friends, family, and for shits and giggles. Brilliant. We took that idea, and created a modern version of it. Here, apes can buy the right to change history. Each vocal hook is represented by an NFT, owning it gives the ape the right to edit what is in that hook. No one can own more than 3 of the 8 hooks. The hooks combine on top of the base beat to create the Master Track. This can also be minted as an NFT, and immortalized. We think of this as evolution, rooted in history. Monkeys become apes.
